| Lady Melisande was once a dryad devoted to a powerful tree in Yew. The swamps destroyed her tree and her lands, cursing her in the process. Her touch upon the land now taints and corrupts. |
| While Lady Melisande may have lost all her beauty, she is nonetheless extremely formidable. Her power, once used for the good of nature, is now entrenched in the evil that causes her immortal pain. Her spindly fingers clutch at the souls of humans and Elves venturing in her path. |
Lady Melisande is the Peerless of the Blighted Grove dungeon. Her lair can be entered by completing the Frightened Dryad's quest.
She is vulnerable to the Fey Slayer type weapons, such as the Pixie Swatter, Ironwood Composite Bow, Wind of Corruption, Fallen Mystic's Spellbook or Defiler of Virtue. Custom slayer weapons can now be crafted and imbued using Fey Wings.
She is vulnerable to physical and fire damage.

Abilities
- Has an area effect nausea attack that affects anyone or anything standing within three tiles of her. This nausea attack reduces swing speed by 60, Hit Chance Increase by 60, Defense Chance Increase by 60 and Faster Casting by 5 for 30 seconds, making her extremely difficult to fight with a melee fighter (i.e. Swordsman, Macer, Fencer). Mages and archers should definitely stand at a distance as well.
- Uses Necromancy spells, including revenant.
- Has a retinue of (5) evil satyrs.
- Talks a scary smack talk.
Strategy & Tactics
- The four initial satyrs that spawn with her have discordance and peacemaking abilities, which will severely weaken and prevent players and pets from fighting - they must be dealt with before fighting her. Some prefer to lure each satyr down one by one, while a skilled bard with a Fey Slayer instrument can run up and provoke the satyrs onto Lady Melisande herself. The use of Energy Fields can help control the spawn and keep them at a distance as well.
- A fifth satyr will scramble out and jump onto the highest damaging player when Lady Melisande reaches exactly 50% health, so be prepared to deal with him quickly.
- A tamer with a sufficiently built Triton can handle Lady Melisande without much difficulty, although an older Greater Dragon can still work. Expect to heal it throughout most of the fight though.
- The fallen satyrs will be resurrected into Flesh Golems by Melisande, and these should be immediately dispatched before they can surround and overwhelm your pet.
- Dispelling the Revenants summoned onto the pets is a good idea and should be done frequently.
- When Melisande reaches 600 hit points, she will summon (3) more helpers to her aid: A Reaper, an Insane Dryad and a Stone Harpy. Worry about them after the boss is finished.
Keys
- Requires a blessing from the Frightened Dryad to enter.
- The Frightened Dryad will ask you to kill 12 Insane Dryads and 1 Saliva.
- A total of (3) Insane Dryads will suddenly appear when you walk close to certain trees in Blighted Grove. It is always the same (3) trees, but it seems to take quite a long time for the Insane Dryads to respawn.
- Saliva is a blue named harpy, hidden inside a 'cave' inside the great tree to the west of the main entrance.
- After slaying the required monsters, she will give you a "Dryad's Blessing," which can be exchanged for the "Dryad's Curse" via the wicker basket near the Frightened Dryad.
- The Dryad's Curse is your main key. Double click it to get you and your party into the Peerless Room to fight Lady Melisande.
