Moonstone Crystal shards are found as loot on Myrmydex Warriors in the Myrmidex Pit on Eodon.
They are a component needed to make the tinkering item Kotl Power Core, craftable by tinkers who have read the recipe. The recipe is obtained from the Treasures of the Kotl City event.
