Character Overview

Generally, a Character is your in-game avatar. Once created, a character cannot be deleted for 7 days. Accounts have 5–7 character slots (depends on tokens and game version). Exceptions: on Siege Perilous and Mugen shards, each account may have only 1 character.

Races

There are three playable races, each with unique traits.

Humans

  • Strong Back — Increased carry weight beyond Strength; +60 Stones capacity.
  • Tough — Faster natural HP recovery; +2 Hit Point Regeneration.
  • Workhorse — Improved resource yields while gathering (extra logs/hides; +1 ore on random mining; +1 Logs in Trammel, +2 Logs in Felucca).
  • Jack of All Trades20.0 minimum in all skills (does not appear on skill menu).
  • Note: Since Publish 64, JOAT does not reduce special-move mana costs. If you don’t have ≥200 modified points across combat skills (Swords, Mace, Fencing, Archery, Throwing, Parry, Lumberjacking, Stealth, Poisoning, Bushido, Ninjitsu), special moves cost full mana.

Elves

  • Night Sight — Always-on full Night Sight effect.
  • Infused with MagicEnergy Resistance cap +5 (to 75); you must still raise actual resists via gear/effects.
  • Difficult to Track — Harder for others to track.
  • Perception — Higher chance to passively reveal hidden monsters/enemies.
  • Knowledge of Nature — Increased chance for special resources (e.g., colored ore, special boards).
  • Wisdom+20 maximum mana.

Gargoyles

  • Flying — Move at mounted speed; access to Gargoyle-only areas.
  • Berserk — For each 20% HP lost, gain +15% weapon damage (to +60% cap) and +3% Spell Damage Increase (to +12% cap).
  • Master Artisan — Increased chance to imbue and unravel magical items.
  • Deadly AimThrowing minimum skill 20.0; +5% Hit Chance (stacks with HCI/skill) and HCI cap 50%.
  • Mystic InsightMysticism minimum 30.0; +2 Mana Regeneration (stacks with Med/Focus).
