๐Ÿ“– Description

Magic Reflection reduces your Physical Resistance while increasing all Elemental Resistances.

  • Physical Resistance decreases by 20 - (Inscription / 20) (minimum -5).
  • Elemental Resistances increase by 10.
  • At Grandmaster Inscription you receive -15 Physical Resistance, -5 maximum Physical Resistance, and +10 Elemental Resistances.

In player-versus-player combat, the spell grants a Reflection Pool that can reflect any direct targeted (non-AoE) spell except Bard Masteries.

Reflection Pool formula:

Reflection Pool = ((Magery / 20) + IB) * (1 + MRC)

Where IB is the Inscription Bonus and MRC is the Magic Resistance Coefficient:

  • IB = Inscription / 20 (rounded down, and 0 if Inscription < 50.0)
  • MRC = Magic Resistance * 0.075 (not rounded)

The Reflection Pool is rounded down and capped at 100%, even though the maximum calculated value is 110%. A build with 120 Magery, 100 Inscription, and 108 Magic Resistance reaches the cap.

Each hostile spell drains the pool based on its circle. If the pool remains, the spell reflects back to the caster; once depleted, the spell damages the target. After the reflect breaks, there is a 30-second delay before it can be recast to replenish the pool.

Magic Reflection remains active indefinitely until you die, are purged, or recast the spell to remove it. Equipable reflection items behave the same way, taking 60 seconds to charge before activating and requiring another 60-second wait after the reflect is broken.
